Thehammer....You made some great points. I don't really know HB. I do understand some things about human nature and i try to expound on those. Just my life long observations. In my corporate life, I was a lot like Peter Navarro. He was a bit of a pariah in the WH because he was all in for DJT / MAGA. A lot were not. Bannon says he never took a day off. I am a top down thinker so I attempt to synthesize what seems complicated into its essence. I used to think everyone thought this way but came to realize late in life that few really do. Just some observations: 1) What is irksome at the time seems to dwarf all else. I look at DJT's accomplishments in the face of all challenges and it is the stuff of legend, He wasn't perfect but didn't get a lot of help. He made some poor personnel choices that I agree with but hindsight is 20-20 and there was a lack of bench strength. 2) People seek out the safety of the crowd. This is not generally true of conservatives, but even they begin to seek comfort in the crowd. One man with courage is a majority. More MTG, more Matt Gaetz... 3) People rank priorities differently. Some things are much more important to some folks versus others. 4) The media still controls us to a degree. I catch myself often falling for something and then kicking myself later. We are constantly bombarded by information seeking to dishearten, fool and divert our attention. Question everything and everyone. For instance, a lot of things done in the media try to alienate people by race or gender. Don't fall for it. Understand that the real battel is left versus right. 5) We need action and cohesion. Don't fight multi front wars. I think most of the people who post something here that appears anti DJT are good conservatives. We must concentrate on the bond that binds us.
