there's a big BUT.. historically, your argument doesn't wash. Bush2 was on record during the 2000 runup as quoting the gov should not be making money. he was going to give everyone a tax rebate, of which he did. & that numbnuts AlanGreenspan was along side of him. so, it can be said Bush 2 bought the election but he had nothing to do with earning the SocSec surplus except f*** things up, of which he did. since FDR the conservatives have had SocSec in their crosshairs, wanting to kill that highly successful program (as it plays.. SocSec is much better than China's 'filial piety'). 3rd rail politics should be extinct by all common sense of human being. (I have returned to civilization for my yearly oil change. as of this moment I reside with my dTrumped cultist family just south of the Can border in WaState. my farts are still tight) I return the cultural world in Jan.. Athens & Sarande in Albania. hope all is well with you.. sorry about the rant
