well, seems that was a low estimate...
more like 18%+ for part b
which claws-back more than the 6% social security cola for a large number, if not most,
of low income seniors:

"...The standard monthly premium for Part B will be $170.10 [in 2022], up $21.60 from $148.50
[in 2021]..."

apparently, medicare is being ruined via neoliberal public-private 'partnerships', before the
government transitions into medicare-for-all, at which point medicare will be about the same
as the current 'shitty deal': obamacare.
