Yup. It was a warm, humid night here.
Also very windy.
That roaring sound like a train going by
but coming from up in the tree tops.
We had about 5 inches of snow on the ground yesterday
and the previous night, my digital thermometer recorded 9F.
Last night, it was up to 60F from about midnight until dawn.
Thunder and lightning.
As there are no leaves on the trees and there was snow on the ground
the thunder sounded like someone kicking an empty metal trash can
around in an underground parking garage.
When I was out with my dog at around one in the morning,
the air was so hot and humid that it felt like
getting hit in the face with a steaming hot towel.
Snow all gone now.
Rather bizarre weather for the middle of December.
So, I wonder what's coming next?
