Been a long time since I paid closer attention to the sky in general terms but the actual "solar noon" timing holds the answer your looking for of why that happens, it's different then actual time of day numbers. That happens from the Earths orbit being elliptical, not circular and the Earth's axis of rotation. Watching the sky beats the boob tube imo. Vince
