Wharfie,
It was historic; first woman and first Asian to be president. It made her an inspiration for all females, and especially those of color.
Kamala wasn't supposed to be just a "check box" veep. Being the first woman and first "Asian" to be president is as significant as someone commenting "FIRST" on a YouTube video.

Remind me why Kamala was your top choice among the Democrats.
