Ron: Yes, CDE has gone the goldie route in I believe Australia. Use to be a pure silver play. My "sentimental" favorite was Calahan Mining which was brought out by CDE several years ago. Calahan did fine on the day of the Oct 87 crash (correction?). Was number 2 on the upside on that day. But, alas, it did not hold to the upside very long. But did have a nice runup with the weak U.S. dollar during 1985 and the beginning of 1988.....The ripples from W.B.'s purchase of silver have not yet played out. I remember 1993 and the Soros play in Newmont. That gold move last about 1 year. Hope the same is true with silver. Adios.
