Re: CSCO - Dividends and Holding

My wife and i have held a position in CSCO for around 3 decades. In fact, I believe we first got in shortly after they became public. If I remember correctly, We were unable to get IPO shares, but purchased, according to my records, in the Summer of 1991.

We started with a very small position (10 shares). However, CSCO used to split almost annually from 1993 through 2000. Whomever held shares from the beginning, has seen those shares split into 288 shares. An original 10 share position is now equal to 2.880 shares. Unfortunately, we do have this size position.

We sold off from time-to-time, and also purchased from time-to-time. But we still have a large position, and aren't selling now, except for the occasional trim.
