The sector has lagged the 500 Index for some time. We know that it is cyclic and the current economy isn't supporting the sector. For the 500 Index: YTD it has lagged by 6.76%, last 6 months it lagged by 8.69%, 3 months it lagged by 2.05%.

If you compared it with the tech sector, it looks even worse, YTD lagged by 13.71%, 6 months 17.04%, 3 months 6.04%.
For us long term investors it may be looking like time to buy!
