The college textbook market is known to be one of the biggest rip offs for students, where prices for textbooks are outrageously marked up to the tune of 200%-500% per book. Profits are distributed randomly amongst all parties concerned at the expense of students. Lots of administrators get paid off. It is an old boy's network. I have to wonder how much of this goes to BNED's bottom line.

To bad Amazon hasn't entered the school text business through Kindle. But that would force BNED to go BK again if that ever came to pass. Barriers to entry are enormous in this very tight old boy's network.

The director seems to think BNED can't miss.
