four of six major US indices at today's Thursday Dec 16 close
reside below one or both the 5% and 10% trends ( the selected moving averages )
for their cumulative net Advance-Decline line:

* above both important fast moving averages are the A-D lines for $SPX and $OEX

* a big negative is that two of the six indices' A-D lines reside below their 200-day EMA

* US equity market bulls need, at a minimum, for all six A-D lines to reside above their 200-day EMA

chart #2 shows the condition of the Silver Cross at each weekly close for 5 major indices:

weekly chart -

* a decent amount of negative trend is evident among the indices' Silver Cross condition ...

time will tell if upward repair actually takes place with some degree of Staying Power
