All I want is a Trump indictment for Christmas.



Something must have happened to trigger Trump's paranoid statement today. I have thought about it and I would guess that Trump's attys had previously put in a request that Trump wanted to exercise his right to testify (w/ waiver of immunity) even though he would never do so. 1/

This is a strategic maneuver bc it gives constructive notice to the defendant that indictment could be near. The DA may have indicated on Fri that Trump's opportunity to testify before G/J must happen very soon, meaning that indictment may be imminent. Trump knows.@cashsteven1 2/

David Cay Johnston, just now on MSNBC, said he expects Vance to bring racketeering charges against Trump. He cited a recent grand jury meeting with an editor of Forbes. Also, Vance's focus on malice of forethought and intent to deceive, building blocks of a racketeering charge.
