Rxbond, I don’t know what your ambitions are, but you may have a future in politics. Divide and conquer. Always worked, always will. Your post reminded me of something during Obama’s 1st term - the man was always underestimated as a political street fighter. People were complaining - “He’s SO divisive!”. My reply was - Yes! He’s divisive, but always with an eye towards finding himself on the side of the majority [of any divide]. Worked for him - he got re-elected.

Same here - politicizing the process of vaccinations may help with building a majority. Survivors - and the vast majority overall will be survivors - will have a tendency to credit the vaccine. On top, yes, numbers will be “doctored”. And - every little bit helps… antivaxxers will be labeled as bad people, and so will be anyone in some way associated with that line of thinking.

I’ve been repeating this forever - marxists may not have any productive ideas to offer - but never underestimate their expertise in crowd manipulation and obtaining power.
