<<Ontario reports over 4000 new cases yesterday, roughly 1000 of which are unvaccinated.>>

So, if the vaccinated rate of the population is 75%, that would be a natural expectation. 1/4 people who became cases would be unvaccinated.

If the vaccinated rate was more than 75%, say 90%, it means the vaccine was having a positive effect on infection rate. If the vaccination rate is less than 75%, it would indicate that vaccinated people are more prone to infection. Thats how I see it from the numbers given.

If those test figures are accurate.

I am seeing Canada has a vaccination rate of 77% so, if accurate, the Vaccine is effectively neutral regarding the test. i.e. has no effect on infection rate
