If I had to guess, I would say that there will be more than 2,500,000 shares outstanding after next week. I think you are right when you speculate that there is shorting against the box. Furthermore, I believe that you are also correct in your conjecture concerning the "holder's" ability to "play the game". If they are really good, they will sell at one price and then drive down the price over the next 5 trading days to get the maximum benefit of the conversion. It should be interesting. In addition, another debenture's 45 days is up in about 2 weeks. It should happen all over again.
