I'm hearing rumors (no decent substantiation) of layoffs at both KLAC and AMAT -- of course, as always, even if these are true, they may be priced into the stock. I would suspect AMAT is going to make some forward-looking announcements with its earnings report that will drive the entire sector up or down.
