The most interesting part of the container thing is... empty containers. Nothing to put in them to ship back to China etc.

So they pile up. Prices for containers from China are 5x more than they were a couple of years ago. If shippers have to eat the cost of shipping them back empty... adds insult to injury for retailers who depend on Chinese goods and pay the container costs.

Can't ship Nuclear Aircraft carriers... we've got 11 Carrier task forces with one more coming next year and two in progress.

China has one diesel carrier converted from a Russian obsolete ship. Russia has on diesel carrier that smokes.

I predicted years ago... China would beat us without firing a shot. What no one thinks about is defense companies can hire the best engineers. They have deep pockets. Every single congressperson's job depends on defense jobs now. In 2016 Congress gave the Pentagon 130% of what they asked for. China's best engineers are getting better and better at producing consumer goods. Don't see how this can end well long term. Just a matter of time.
