Re: Old Folk Portfolio ... Yesterday I made a swap for income. I trimmed some shares in GD and used the proceeds to add to AIO. GD - 2.40% yield AIO - 6.72% yield Additionally, AIO announced a 20% increase in the distribution, increasing the yield to 6.77%, and they announced a year end special dividend of $3.45. As far as the objective, I place this in a category referred to as "Special Opportunities." This was a move to lock in some nice income gains.
