TD, Thanks for the update. It's starting to look like deja vu all over again. Back in 1995, when LGND fell to 5 1/2 (it's all time low), the absurdly cheap price began to attract interest. Jim McCamant of MTSL and Michael Murphy of CTCL initiated coverage as did David Malowa of Bear Stearns (with an attractive rating). LGND's price responded and it quickly moved into double digits.

Now LGND dipped down to 11 so Michael Murphy came out with an article on "Biotechs' Next Wave" which included LGND in one of the three companies mentioned, and Jim McCamant is also beginning to again focus on LGND. David Molowa of Bear Stearns was the first analysts to put LGND's 1999 profitability into print and I expect more to follow suit.
Today's move was impressive, but I expect much more (and I certainly have not bought Andy his third bottle of wine).
