Should I be fortunate enough to maintain the contest lead until the end, I am listing my charity of choice here.

FLI supports research and awareness efforts in areas where we have existential risk, and which public efforts are poorly resourced. As an example, they do a lot of work on AI safety and autonomous weapons, areas where there are very strong industry forces pushing us forward but very few checks and balances to prevent calamitous events. The safe development of strong AI (Artificial General Intelligence) is an area I am particularly concerned about, because we have no regulation and the vast majority of people don't understand the risks so it is not getting enough sovereign attention.

I have already donated $100 to FLI, and also $100 to the World Central Kitchen (https://wck.org), which was one of Bulbaman / Technetium's recommended choices to help the people of Kentucky after the recent tornadoes.

Thanks to technetium for running the contest! Besides being a good cause, I find it to be a great learning experience that helps with my personal portfolio allocations.
