That's correct, if you are buying it in a taxable brokerage account, wait until tomorrow. If you are buying in a tax deferred/free account it doesn't really matter. The nav should drop with the distribution.
AIO has only been around a couple years but has raised it's distribution and paid specials both years. It's currently at about an 8% discount. I'm not sure why it gets no love.
You may want to wait to see what happens tomorrow. People may have bought for the special distribution and will dump it shortly. Either way it's a great fund.
