Seems to me the reason Fidelity is showing today's trading action as a gain, is that they adjusted the closing price from yesterday for the Special Distribution. My Fidelity account shows today's trading as a gain, but when I look at my purchase history, it shows the shares purchased at higher prices were not adjusted, and are sitting at a loss.

Gimmicks I say, all gimmicks. Folks can play with numbers to make them say whatever they want to say!!
