Andy,

Great idea for a thread; your position at Mpath lends credibility to the discussion.

I have a couple general questions as I try to grasp the situation. I should state that I have never used a service like yours although the closest thing I did was beta test for Ultima Online. The experience was wonderful but imperfect. I have also played Diablo via Battle.Net or whatever it was called. Both games suffered from the same basic problem which was network latency. So, finally, my question: What type of solutions can your service offer over an increasingly congested internet? A corollary question: Does Mpath plan to incorporate itself into the @HOME/RoadRunner cable modem network? I understand that anybody with a cable modem can connect to Mpath without a strategic alliance between the two companies but if you could connect your servers directly to their backbone then wouldn't it be faster?

My final question is where your revenues come from. Do you receive commissions from the games you support or is the majority of your revenue from gamer subscriptions?

Thank you for establishing the thread. I agree that this industry will be exciting to watch (let me know if that guy figures out a way to get a pre-IPO position - I'd follow his lead :) )

John
