Well Ray I never said I didn't give much weight to TA, I just said that I don't believe in MA. The essential premise of TA which to me is that the movement of the stock tells us something about the balance of power between buyers and sellers makes a lot of sense to me. The difference between most TA and MA is that TA attempts to discover something about the behavior and strength of conviction of buyers and sellers whereas MA is based on the assumption that the buyers and sellers will be influenced by the tools used by the technical analyst. This of course may in fact be true but I think it is inconsequential. TA makes sense to me even though I know very little about it. As far as the cup and handle goes, it seems to have worked once before for THQI so when I saw what looked like a cup and the beginnings of a handle, I was intrigued. You would know far more than I as to the reliability of this indicator and indeed whether or not this stock is creating this formation. Might I ask, what do you think is happening and will happen? You seem to me to be a very objective and disciplined person so I would value your opinion.
