Trey, you are missing my point.

I am not arguing that ADI's chipset is superior to TXNs or is somehow unique. I am arguing that Aware's relationship to ADI is superior to Westell's relationship to TI. It may temporarily benefit TI to have a relationship with Westell, but there is nothing that compells TI to have a strong business and technology relationship with Westell.

ADI needs Aware, just as TI needed Amati (until they bought them). That is why I am always hestiate to purchase Westell stock. Although they have some nice customer contracts and relationships, they don't bring anything absolutely critical to the partnership. Also contracts can be broken as USWest and Pairgain just discovered.
