This is interesting because generally platinum is the worst metal to work with for a minute repeater although I love it as a case metal. I forget the exact order of best resonance bu a watchmaker told me years ago but it was something like steel, titanium, gold and unsure where silver fits in as it used to be a common pocket watch casing metal. fwiw.
