David, the problem is that APM is not INTC or CSCO. Your analysis is completely wrong.

APM is bleeding red ink, yes. But will it stop? Probably not.

The problem is that there is already an oversupply of heads. When they get their capacity up, I doubt there will be many takers. They will therefore either have to fold or start a price war to gain their share back. Either way, the company is dead meat.

Why would WDC, QNTM, IBM, etc, want to buy APM's new unproven head when RDRT has ones for a comparable price and they know the quality is there? Not only that, but APM will be swimming in debt by the time they can even bring their MR heads to market.
