While the contest results are indicative of the market segment, we need to keep in mind that they do not represent contestants’ ROIs as most participants are unlikely to just sit for 12 months without cashing in on gains, cutting their losses and or play the wash and repeat game.

My 2021 pick is likely a typical example. It shows a 12.73% return while my actual ROI is well above 100% thanks to trading in commons and warrants.

Very few people these days hang on to even remotely speculative positions without trading them along the way.

That said, I love the contest as it tells me who is worth listening to and who is not and that’s not based on one year results.

Once again, thank you for keeping this going for so many years.
