The cited article in my review post is most interesting for one reason: the former prosecutor/author suggests that subsequent indictments are coming (that’s easy enough to divine) but the charges will likely be a conspiracy to defraud the US.
And that is very, very interesting.
Why?
The nature of such a charge gives the involved agencies in the Hoax (CIA, DOJ, and FBI) a wonderful way to dump all of their wrongdoing on the Clinton campaign.
Let me explain.
A charge of conspiracy to defraud the US means, among other thing, that the conspirators through various means got the agencies to act, expend tax monies, spend their resources, etc., on actions which were illegal and intended to further the interests of the conspirators rather than the legitimate interests of the United States.
Oh, oh.
That’s a pretty broad brush. If proven, the charge will establish the innocence of the agencies (they were, after all, innocent bureaucrats duped by the conspirators who, like Sussmann, were feeding them false info), and the guilt of the conspirators. The agencies were definitely not innocent bureaucrats but it makes for a great narrative, restoring faith and credibility in their sorry asses. But that is not the point.
The point is that it is a neat trick.
But who are the conspirators?
Sussmann knows but he wasn’t charged with conspiracy to defraud the US. But that doesn’t mean that an additional charge of conspiracy to defraud the US cannot be later added. That’s the sharp sword Durham can swing at Sussmann. He either fingers the conspirators or he gets another charge tacked on, and more possible prison time.
Sussmann is so, so phucked.
And his co-conspirators are sweating bullets. Sullivan, Podesta, Hillary, etc.
Lololissimo!!
This is a big damn story. Media is of course ignoring it because it is so sensitive. Any attempt to use their influence now to back Sussmann and his co-conspirators (something they already wrongfully did when the Hoax was running) could easily backfire on them. They, especially the lefty media, lost tons of credibility. Not about to happen again.
So, slowly, the Hoaxsters are getting what they deserve. |
