I never got vaccinated and that was one of the reasons why.

I hope we both made the right choices for ourselves.

In mandate-land:

I personally know people who "lost" their jobs - in essence forced to quit.

I personally know people who decided to retire early or quit because of the job mandates.

Some of these people who had unique skills or abilities that would be difficult or impossible to replace.

Causing other people who depended on them realize what their job would be like without them - so even though these other people are vaccinated, they are quitting or retiring.

These are not run of the mill jobs - the loss of these people are going to affect the lives of more than many thousands of other people.
