Re: Young Folk Portfolio ... Buys & Sells.

These moves were made in the Taxable Account.

I sold several underperforming companies today that were overweight positions. I didn't sell them last year because I had already accumulated too much realized capital gains, so I had to wait until the new year started before selling.

The four positions I trimmed are: CL .. GIS .. KMB .. KO. - A Full Position in this portfolio is $4K.

CL is up 84.17%. I trimmed it back to a 1/2 sized position.

GIS is up 58.62%. I trimmed it to a 1/2 sized position.

KMB is up 52.19%. I trimmed it back to a 1/2 sized position.

KO is up 98.21% thus it was 2 times a full position. I trimmed it back to a 1/2 sized position, so on day 1 of the first trading day of the year I have realized as much in capital gains as I did in all of 2021.

The following positions that were added to are: AAPL .. ANTM .. MSFT .. UNH.

All of these holdings were small positions and I brought them all up to a 2/3 sized position.

I have cash left over from the sale of the consumer staple assets and am holding on to the cash until earnings season starts where I will be adding to companies that beat and raise earnings expectations.

There won't be any new cash hitting this account until the end of the year after the Roth contributions have been maxed out, therefore all holdings in the Taxable Account are set up on dividend reinvestment.
