Hi sm1th,

Great trading -that is an excellent record!

Shows you to be very selective, with great annualized income.

If I might as, of the calls and puts. In general how far out do you go in time?

I have a large position in CVX and XOM and am considering selling covered calls.

I do not want them called, but am getting comfortable on selling 30 to 45 days out and picking up a annual 4-5 percent. Just some frosting on my dividend revenue stream. Since I'm getting 6%+ on XOM, and 5.5% on CVX, I'm thinking 135 and 140's for CVX 30 to 45 days out or so, 80 on the XOM 30 to 45 days out.

May just be getting too cute for my own good also?

Just as I never sell a put, except on a stock I'd like to buy, selling a call on a stock I'd like to sell, is not quite where I'm at yet.

TIA

Bob
