Sometimes I explain things away if I have enough information to do so. Sometimes I offer you other viable alternative possibilities (for example, "yet") that you seem to have failed to consider in your rush to judgment. Sometimes I simply cannot confirm your assertion and I say so.

Signature matches dropped from 6% to 0.3% from one election to the next, after this new law went into effect.

I recall covering this particular matter not too long ago. I remember it because you were even wrong about what you were charging. Trump had claimed 4%, not 6%. I recall telling you so, for all the good it did.

Re the claim, I cannot substantiate it. If you can, please do so.

It may be that Trump was referring to the 0.15% of ballots specifically rejected for "missing or non-matching signatures" when saying that ballots rejected in 2020 were "almost zero", but this percentage is consistent with past years. The higher percentage he mentions for past years is likely based off the total rejected ballots ( here) which can not be compared with 2020, as this information is not available.

False. Georgia rejected 2,011 ballots or 0.15% in 2020. In 2016 and 2018, Georgia’s ballot rejection rates were 0.24% and 0.15% respectively.
