It is not 2%. That figure is false.

Total cases: 58,860,653
Total deaths: 853,954

The ratio is now down to 1.5%, probably due to a number of factors:

1) Omicron being more transmissible yet less deadly

2) High vaccination rates, so even though the number of breakthrough infections is increasing, the chances of death are lower than before

3) Many more treatment options available, such as Gilead's Remdesivir and Pfizer's new COVID pill

Still a LOT higher than your completely unsupported figure of 0.03%. And I'm sure if you counted just the unvaccinated, the chances of death are significantly higher than 1.5%.
