>> You're creating a false dichotomy when you complain about mail voting when your computerized system is still aspirational. Rational people work with what's possible.
First, what's not possible is to allow continued cheating by Democrats. Because you are destroying the country. While you may have thought you were getting rid of Trump, what you did was to shake the democracy to its core, and shithead displays like those witnessed today only made it worse.
Jordan Peterson, no fan of Trump -- but the brightest mind in the room 100% of the time, commented on this basic problem some time ago. It is brief but highly important and relevant. You should think about how you would answer Peterson's questions:
Jordan B. Peterson | Real Time with Bill Maher (HBO) - YouTube
It is interesting that Maher responds with some nonsense about "democratic norms" and then we end up with Biden who wouldn't know Democracy if it bit him on the ass.

As to a computerized system, the only reason it isn't possible is because Democrats won't allow it. Not for technical reasons but because they know they can't manipulate it to maximize their portion of the vote. It stops the cheating 100%, cold dead.
A fully computerized system could up and running, easily, before the next presidential election.
This is the difference between someone who looks at government and understands what it could be rather than tolerating what it is. If you do not believe what I'm saying, ask Microsoft if they can do it. Or Elon Musk. Or any other large scale systems operation like Oracle, or Epic, or even Salesforce.
Experienced developers know that you have to take your codebase back to ground zero from time to time and rebuild it from the ground up. This is not difficult. Facebook has done it, and people never knew. for the most part.
Government is incapable, of course. Due to incompetence from top to bottom. But much bigger problems are routinely handled by organizations like banks, major parts distributors, Paypal, Oracle, IBM. All these organizations handle far more complex and larger scale problems than an integrated voting system.
The reason it cannot be done is Democrats need to be able to cheat. It is survival. While it has been self evident for years, 2020 proved it.
I understand government moves slowly, and have a pretty good understanding of why that is (Today's congressional activities illustrate it well).
I admire the fact that you were able to stay in government for a career without exploding. I could never have done that. I cannot tolerate inefficiency. And it is what government does best. |
