Ralfph,
I work with or have contact with medical examiners and coroners every few months. They are far from consistent in their procedures and much gets left out for a variety of reasons and rational.
Again, under ENORMOUS pressure to find something, ANYTHING, to tie Brian Sicknick's death to the insurrection, the medical examiner concluded that there is no evidence thereof.

You can bet that conclusion wasn't made lightly, or was the result of "shoddy work."

Besides, I get the impression that, had the medical examiner come to a different conclusion, you wouldn't accuse that guy of "shoddy work."

Typical confirmation bias.
