No, but SFAM [admittedly not in the same business, but related] just warned of lower 3rd and possibly 4th quarter results related to decreased demand. The numbers they were projecting weren't horrible by any means, but if AMAT stumbles in any significant way, it may cast a pall over the semiconductors. I just think it's wise to hold off investing [if you haven't yet] till after AMAT's earnings Tues. I know I am even if I miss the initial ramp up. Another thing that makes me a little nervous. If AMAT was going to have blow-out earnings, the leak would be out and the stock would have been up more than 5/16 or so, IMHO. Of course, you can say AMAT won't affect KLAC, but I wouldn't make that bet.
