I'm not engaged in designing a system here.

There are at least ten solid open-source development projects in progress. The biggest single problem is that they are shoe-horning them into a totally shitty legal system that has grown up around elections. Which is the reason I believe a compact is needed.

There is a real problem here in that so many have not acknowledged the 2020 theft. For those, no change is necessary. After all, why change a good thing.

But the current system is unmanageable as illustrated in 2020, and it is only going to get worse. Hopefully, Republicans have been awakened sufficiently to realize something must be done. But there are people like Cruz who are just totally unaware.
