Think of the health care system as a giant Cruise ship.
So what? According to you, there is nothing to worry about.

The "alpha" variant was "nO wOrSe tHaN tHe fLuUuUuUuU."

Delta was "nO wOrSe tHaN tHe fLuUuUuUuU."

Not Omicron is even "lEsS dEaDlY tHaN tHe fLuUuUuUuU."

The point is that hospitals are getting overrun once again because of COVID hospitalizations.

And by all accounts, the unvaccinated are staying longer and consuming more hospital resources than the vaccinated.

This affects us all. It's a lot harder now for anyone else to go to the hospital for non-COVID-related issues, like "motorcycle accidents."

Those are the people that you DON'T want to infect with COVID, because the very fact that you need hospitalization itself is a "comorbidity."
