IP reuse encounters obstacles: techweb.com (Article states Actel is developing a 66MHZ, 64-bit PCI core). Hot stuff! I have been researching the semi's extensively over the last few days, and ACTL is still IMO one of the best buys now with very limited downside, as John East (CEO) has already stated that he sees growth in the current Q. ACTL held up very well in the 4th Q compared with their EPLD comp. Granted they are small turning $38M Q's vs. ALTR @ 157M (Q4), XLNX @ $148M, & Lattice @ $60M, but this is also part of the allure, as year over year comparisons can and I believe will be much greater on a percentage basis once revenue from MX kicks. I'm strongly considering taking a "real" position in ACTL next week despite the low volume situation. I want to own ALTR, but there are still lingering concerns over too much inventory on their books and in the channel (distribution). Larry
