Assuming the do make some profit repairing the drives. If they can't repair it then they don't want to loose money so they sell it for little to no profit. This might indicate that the Jaz costs IOM $189-$179 to make. this means eventually the Jaz will be retailing at $199 to compete with the cheaper brand i.e. SparQ. This also means that the Zip+ is going to have to come down in price...I believe eventually to $100-$129 range...with the classic Zip eventually at $59-$75. If their ad campaign works, and judging the abundance of External PP of Zip and Zip+s, they certainly will have the supply to meat demand...if not retailers an very large inventory to get rid of.....I can't believe the , the retailers, could be that wrong. Prices of IOM drives are coming down my friends....hopefully it'll be because the company planned it. Frank
