John, I received the announcement via e-mail. Thanks for the reminder though. ( I could have sworn I responded to this yesterday, but my message seems to have disappeared into the etherworld--at least our power is back on). At first, I wasn't too impressed with the announcement, until I looked closer and realized that GRCI is now fully burdened by taxes, unlike last year. Operating earnings were up close to 50%, so this seemed decent to me. I imagine the next couple of quarters' comparisons will also be similarly effected, but then, this stock is in my long term account (beyond 3 years). I sure wish I could figure out this company, but its lack of visibility is very attractive to me. At least the spread has narrowed considerably since this first time I bought (it was 1x 4 at the time). What did you think of the earnings? Carl P.S. I just figured out why the last message didn't take--it's the new spell checker feature in SI. You have to submit twice (at least).
