I have long since commented on that. I thought we had beaten the topic to death.

It was handled the way deaths by cop are handled. Not that I approve of how deaths by cop are handled, only that independent bodies typically don't get involved in them. SOP is SOP, due process, which at a practical level means nothing to see here because that's how our culture defines fair.

Unless you want to take up the broader process, you know, systemic reform, and not just want to carve out an exception to due process when the victim is your pet, I don't think you have much of an argument.
