You're right. I remember Jean-Claude Killy kicking ass in Grenoble. That was some pretty exciting stuff.

If they can't even cover sports properly, I don't know why I should expect them to be able to handle culture.

I'm just having trouble getting my expectations low enough to keep these guys from disappointing me.

One of the pinhead announcers, blathering on while the athletes paraded into the stadium, said "You just can't underestimate what it means to these young kids to be here competing in the Olympics." Right. It means so little to them you can't possibly underestimate it. Sheesh.

And these people are getting paid ten times what I make.

Double sheesh.
