Mountains of Cash earning what ???? ....... The current long term government bond in the USA is yielding around 1.6% per annum .... The current RATE OF INFLATION IN THE USA IS RUNNING AT 7% !!! ....... Sitting on "Mountains of Cash" doesn't sound like too much of a "Smart Investment" at the current time ...... Even if the FED raised Interest Rates by some phenomenal amount they could never come close close to the ERODING effect of 7% Inflation, caused, to a "Large Extent", by the "printing" of all those Billions/Trillions of Dollars out of "thin air", PLUS the USA's ongoing obsession about constantly raising the "Debt Ceiling" every year !!! ................. When is America going to STOP SPENDING MONEY that it doesn't have ??!!!
