Context I am going to provide some information on our financial context. I do it occasionally so that folks have a better basis to evaluate the stuff that I write: Sources of Income - combined for both of us. Social Security - 43.1% Pensions - 42.5% Portfolio dividends/distributions - 14.4% We live fine without touching dividend/distribution income at this time. Our pensions, 3 in all, have capped Cost Of Llving Adjustments at about 2.5% a year. Our dividend/distribution income increases more rapidly than the other sources, so by the end of the year I expect it to be a little higher as a % of total income. So when you read some of what I write, there is some background that might help you evaluate it, unless it is a chat post.
