The Walmart near me consistantly sells down and restocks. Walmart has good feedback on anything they are selling and ultimately adjusts purchasing to reflect. I'm in Las Vegas, and the smaller games-slots, poker, etc.-appear to sell big time. This Walmart has a large separate display for them and it gets gouged out during weekends. Also, no more $5.97 specials (like they had just after Christmas), they appeared to be at higher prices than last time I looked. As for fishing, sub, and tank attack, they move out fast and get re-stocked weekly.

I really believe that most of the out-of-stock that posters are seeing is negligent re-stocking by the retailer. They will certainly tell you that "it's hard to get enough in" rather than "I forgot to call them again Monday" for obvious reasons.
