I will look for your old posts on Iraq. I like doing that kind of thing. I remember thinking that if we were in the UN and it was going to vote for something, we'd better back it up - otherwise, why do it? I thought it was dumb to bluff all the time and if it was a bluff and nobody backed us, then maybe we'd learn and stop paying attention to the dumb UN and meaningless resolutions. We never learned. Why is the UN around? I guess for the same reason that Trump talked to Kim. Words are better than bullets.

So the next time there's a UN resolution that sounds tough, I've learned not to take it seriously at all. It's the equivalent of Trump's mean tweets. Maybe there's some truth there in the resolutions, but not in the call to action. I haven't kept up with what's going on in Ukraine now because I think it is in part an intentional distraction from important things going on at home. America first. First to designate local parent teacher clubs as terrorists. You were in a bomb club? Wow, you've outed yourself. You're on a list now.

I don't doubt you feel the same way about NZ, or Aotearoa-Zimbabwe, if that's what you prefer to call it these days.

BTW If you have any interest in nephrite, or pounamu as they say, I'm all ears.
