The problem is that many still do trust, or at least give the "mainstream institutions" the benefit of the doubt. Many now know that there never should have been any trust granted in the first place. The Great Awakening.

as Sundance points out - In reality, “misinformation” and “disinformation” doesn’t exist – there is just information you accept, and information you do not accept. You were not born with the requirement to believe everything you are told. Rather, you were born with a brain that allows you to process the information you receive.

I think it's a shame that I cannot truly trust any mainstream institution. It's not because I want to be cynical or 'edgy', but because they have proven time and time and time again that they are not trustworthy.
