.......yes, you are right that we need to research the hell out of these things and not get faked into short term trading. i have regretted 3/4 of my short term trades. they were usually based on fear, aggravated by the media accentuating some bad news followed by a schizophrenic journalist saying, "the sky is falling." then 6 months later the stock is back past its' old highs.
